Holland is situated in Western Europe and borders North Sea; the exact location of Holland is between Belgium and Germany. The total geographical area of Holland or Netherlands is approximately is 41,526 sq km, among which the land surface accounts to have an area of 33,883 and water covers around 7,643 sq km. As Holland shares boundary with the North Sea it consists of a specific coastline which is approximately 451 km. Holland has a got a peculiar terrain which is of both highland and lowland. Recently a massive geographical dynamism is taking place in Holland. Due to natural phenomenon of weathering and tectonic plate movements few parts of Holland is getting separated from the main landmass. This has led to the detachment of the Frisian Isles from Holland. Even the water bodies like Rhine and Maas rivers are also tending to change their direction.

Holland has several low land areas as its main terrain, however even in this particular aspect some changes are taking place. Due to excessive weathering and accumulation of debris a certain part of the coastal region in Holland has taken shape of a plateau. This particular geographical transformation of the terrain has turned few of the low land areas of Holland into high land areas. The lowest point in Holland is the Zuidplaspolder and the highest point is the Vaalserberg. To come to the climate of Holland, it is one of the best climate sin the world. Due to the influence of the sea most of the regions in Holland have Mediterranean type of climate and rest of the part has temperate type. During the summers it’s not too hot and same goes in the month of winter, in simple words the climate is a moderate one.
Holland is one of the most developed countries in Europe following the open door policy after the spread of Globalization. The country is an industrially developed country; industries like natural gas, chemicals, technological and many more are most acclaimed in Holland. Agriculture is also a major occupation in Holland. Agriculture is typically modernized and mechanized and also having a better mode of irrigation.
